The Holy Monastery of Hilandar was founded in the 12th century. The wine is being produced in the monastery since its founding. It hasn’t been a single year that the fraternity misses to make wine. The most famous vineyard is named “Savino polje” and it was replanted in 2008. Hilandar wines are distinguished by a great mixture of classical Bordeaux varieties from sunny Mediterranean vineyards that gives a rich and complex experience, fully reflecting the unique climate in which they were created.
