Altesino winery is located in the heart of southern Tuscany, a small town of Montalcino, where the famous Brunello di Montalcino is produced. Altesino is a winery that has launched many innovations and was a pioneer in the region when it introduced the first single vineyard Brunello, Montosoli in 1975. They have 44ha vineyards which is exclusively planted with Sangiovese variety from which they make their big wines with a long aging potential. Their Brunello di Montalcino 2012 was ranked 11th in the Top 100 Wine Spectator list for 2017
