The winery was founded in 1840 and is one of the oldest wineries in Chablis. Throughout history, and even today, they are the only manufacturers from the Chablis that produces Crémant, the sparkling wine made with the traditional method from Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. Although they are the most recognizable by this wine, this winery produces a wide range of wines that best represent the famous Chablis vineyards. Since 2003 this winery is a part of Maison Louis Latour that has been introducing innovations while maintaining this long tradition.
