Roussillon
The winery is owned by M.Chapoutier since 1999 and is located in the well-known region of Roussillon where Greek sailors planted wine grapes and since then this region has been known for producing premium wines. The estate was once a shelter for the knights of the Order of Templar, which is why their cross is symbolicly on the label even today. In the vineyards, only three grape varieties are planted: Syrah, which is the most widespread, Grenache and Carignan.
