WINE MART 2019
02. 03. 2019.
Like year before, this year we have gathered the best of the best on Wine Mart. A star collection of premium wines and distillates was presented the second time to the Serbian audience in the exclusive venue of BMW Delta Motors Show Room in Belgrade. The best wineries from Serbia, Italy and France, as well as other spirit producers, have exclusively displayed a premium segment of their portfolio, providing us with the chance to try some of the best products for the first time!
On this occasion, the audience could, among other things, taste the wines from five famous estates from the French region of Bordeaux, who had their own representatives on Wine Mart. These were Château Pontet-Canet, Château Cos dˈEstournel, Château Pichon Longueville Comtesse de Lalande, Domaines Rollan de By and Château de Pez, who presented mainly a selection of their premium red wines. The first three estates are part of the imperial classification of Medoc from 1855. Among them, Ch.Pontet-Canet is the first from the Pauillac appellation that began to deal with biodynamics.
The first London-dry gin made in Serbia – “Juni93” had its premiere. For the first time, the brandy produced by our celebrated basketball player Nenad Krstic was presented to the public and you could ask him yourself how he decided for such a “retirement”.
The visitors had an occasion to drink the best champagne in the world! At the last-year “Champagne & Sparkling Wine World Championship 2018” in London, Louis Roederer was named the best champagne producer, and Brut Premier Magnum brought them the most glorious title – Supreme World Champion, thus making the best champagne on the planet. In addition to this, Wine Mart guests had the opportunity to try out the top champagne of the house Pol Roger, the favorite drink of the famous Winston Churchill.
There were also the wines from Tuscany, led by Lodovic Antinori, the owner of the Tenuta di Biserno winery, then Casanova di Neri whose wines are always in the selection for the best wines of the world. Angelo Gaja, a visionary and missionary of modern wine making, presented what he is best known for. From Spain and the region of Ribera del Duero we hosted Vega Sicilia whose wines age for 10 years before even appear on the market.
Highlight for cognac lovers was a visit of the Tesseron family vineyards, owned by Château Pontet-Canet, which has been producing these luxury beverages since ancient times. Their entire range is from the “XO” line and above.Alongside the best world wineries and distilleries, the Serbian and regional wine and spirit makers presented themselves with only the best selection of their portfolio.
