At recently held “Novi Sad Wine Salon” we presented Maison Louis Latour from Burgund (France) to local members of hospitality industry and wine professionals. Master class was conducted by Vuk Vuletić, the Head Sommelier of our wine restaurant Podrum Novi Wine Art. This master class was intended to present Burgundy as a wine region, its classification, and six wines from well-known appellations. We started with Cremant, a Burgundy sparkling wine made using champagne method, continued with Montagny 1er cru, and then we showed the minerality of Chablis. Later on, we tasted two white wines from the famous appellations Beaune and Puligny Montrachet 1er cru Sous le Puits. Finally, Pinot Noir from the famous village of Gevrey Chambertin was presented to visitors. This was surely a wine that will be remembered for a long time in the wine memory of the master class attendees. All wines were served in Lehmann Glass glasses from Jamesse and Jamesse Prestige series, which helped in demonstrating the full potential of these great wines.
